About Becoming Winged Counseling

Becoming Winged Counseling was created for individuals and couples' navigating turning points. Therapy is a space to examine the experiences, beliefs, and patterns that shape your life so that you can move forward with greater clarity, intention, and self-understanding.
My Approach: I bring over a decade of clinical experience working with individuals navigating trauma, mood disorders, addiction, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My approach to therapy is insight-driven, direct, and solution-oriented. I meet my clients where they are emotionally on any given day, while also helping them examine the deeper patterns influencing their lives. I believe therapy works best when there is honesty in the room. My role is not simply to validate every perspective, but to help you see your patterns, and the ways you may be holding yourself back. That honesty is ALWAYS paired with compassion and respect. Change happens when insight and accountability meet support.
Why "Becoming Winged"? The process of growth often begins in uncomfortable places. Just as a butterfly must move through the cocoon before it can take flight, emotional transformation requires reflection, courage, and honesty. The work of therapy is the cocoon stage. It is where old patterns are examined, difficult emotions are processed, and new ways of living begin to take shape. From that framework, something new and beautiful can emerge.

Our Services
Individual Therapy Sessions
50-minute one-on-one therapy sessions designed to help you navigate trauma, break harmful patterns, and create lasting change. Through insight-driven, solution-focused work, we examine what keeps you stuck and build a more authentic, aligned life. $175 per session.
Couples' Therapy
50-minute couples' therapy sessions to help partners navigate relationship patterns, improve communication, and strengthen their connection. Our direct, honest approach focuses on real change and deeper understanding between partners. $225 per session.
Consultation & Initial Intake
Begin your healing journey with a brief 15-minute consultation to determine if we're the right fit for one another. Consultations must be completed to establish services. A comprehensive 90-minute initial intake session ($200) aids in establishing a foundation for meaningful therapeutic work and to help clarify your goals for therapy.
